Recent Projects
Horn River Basin – NL Fisher is a leader in the development of the Horn River shales. Our creative and technical approach to the area allows our clients to minimize risk and realize the optimal metrics of their capital expenditures in this vast basin. We have successfully drilled pacesetter wells and cored wells in the HRB without the need to set intermediate casing, achievements we are very proud to share with our industry colleagues.
Bakken – Our completion department is actively involved with the continuous improvement process of optimizing number and size of fracs in the Bakken play. This process includes, but is not limited to, attendance of industry related seminars, training programs and conferences. The information gathered in these forums is then put to use in the real world by our first class engineers.
SAGD – NL Fisher is actively involved with the supervision of drilling operations at Foster Creek and Christina Lake. Furthermore, we are committee members providing drilling and completion advice to an industry group (Shell, StatOilHydro, Chevron, Conoco Phillips, Connacher, Total & Nexen) involved with benchmarking well pairs and core holes.
